SRINAGAR HOUSEBOAT EXPERIENCE - 3 Nights / 4 Days

Arrive at Srinagar International Airport. Meet our representative who will receive you with a traditional Kashmiri welcome. Transfer to Dal Lake (15 minutes from airport). Check into your traditional wooden Houseboat moored on Dal Lake — these are decorated with intricate walnut wood carvings and traditional Kashmiri furniture. Each Houseboat has 3-4 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, drawing room, dining room, and a sundeck offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Spend the afternoon enjoying a traditional Shikara ride (1 hour included) on Dal Lake — a serene boat ride past floating gardens, lotus flowers, and floating shops. Visit the floating vegetable market (early morning) and traditional Kashmiri craft shops on the lake. Sunset over the lake is magical with the Pir Panjal mountains. Wazwan dinner onboard houseboat (multi-course traditional Kashmiri meal — try rogan josh, dum aloo, gushtaba, with rice). Overnight on the Houseboat — wake up to the sound of water gently lapping against the wooden deck.
